Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been accused of “forcing” staff at Old Trafford to “resign” because of his “poor treatment” of certain staff.

I’m Sam Cunningham Interviewed Former Manchester United steward Frank Robinson has given an eye-opening insight into how Ratcliffe has treated his staff since arriving at Old Trafford.
Robinson, who was United’s steward for 24 years, claimed Ratcliffe’s “treatment caused him to quit” and reports suggested Ineos had “cut stewardship bonuses”.
i Paper can reveal that stewards employed by the club – some of the lowest paid staff – have had their bonuses wiped out this season.
“Stewards used to receive £100 for every 10 games they completed but will no longer receive that.
“The steward of the week was also awarded a £50 bonus but the cash prize was reduced.”

During the interview, Robinson slammed Ratcliffe and Ineos for being “petty” for “cutting off the people at the bottom”.
“A lot of officers have left since Ratcliffe came on board,” Robinson said.
“Until last year they had a perfect attendance bonus. For every 10 games we played we got a £100 bonus. Now they say you don’t have that. So they stopped that altogether.
“For years you would have a Steward of the Week and someone would nominate or a fan would write in and say how well the steward did. You got £50 for it. Now they still have Steward of the Week but they There are no awards.
“It’s such a small thing for a football club. You’re squeezing the people at the bottom of the ladder.”
The 67-year-old continued: “Directors and stewards who have been at Manchester United for many years are packing their bags.
“Some stewards who are over 70 years old put them up on the top floor of the North Stand because they know they won’t like it and they will leave. They could bring in more agency staff but they are trying to push them away.
“They are firing housekeepers and replacing them with untrained, unqualified agency staff. Agency staff have no overhead, no training, no uniforms, and no one needs work pay and time off.”
