Today is a great day in the world of video games, with HB Studios and 2K they officially introduced the new PGA Tour 2K25. This year’s cover contains Tiger Woods (wearing his new Sun red clothing), Max Homa (wearing him New Cobra hat) and Matt Fitzpatrick.
As part of the new premiere of HB Studios and 2K, they also revealed a lot of game updates, including new courses, new swing mechanics, interactive games and new players. Here is a quick summary of what has changed:
- The new rates of the course include 2025 US Open at Oakmont Country Club, PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, Open Championship at Royal Portrush, and open championships in St. Andrews will be promised for season 2 just after launching
- The new Evoswing helps to increase the swing realism by breaking the swing into four elements: contact, rhythm, passage and swing path. There are also new types of shots, ball flights, a roller physics and visual improvements
- The new “Perfect Swing” is a low setting of difficulties that reduces external factors affecting the swing, thanks to which the gameplay is more forgiving
- Equipment progression that allows players to align their clubs and golf balls
- News and earning professionals and celebrities are Tiger Woods, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Tony Finau, Brooke Henderson, Will Zalatoris, Rose Zhang, Max Homa, Tom Kim Gilmore)
- Extended custom adaptation of myclayer and mycareer round, increasing flexibility on the platform
The standard edition of the PGA Tour 2K25 will be available on Friday, February 28. In addition, 2K says that “Players who pre -order PGA Tour 2K25 Deluxe Edition and PGA Tour 2K25 Legend Edition have the right to seven days of early access to Friday, February 21, 2025.”
