Dominant 55-23 victory over Commanders from Washington in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday didn’t come without some minor trolls from Philadelphia Eagles Post.
Philadelphia accumulated 459 yards and forced four Washington turnovers. Running away Saquon Barkley He rushed for 118 yards and three of the Eagles’ seven rushing touchdowns – the most tied for a playoff game in NFL history, according to ESPN Research.

This wasn’t the only jab at the commanders.
Ahead of the NFC title game, Washington fans dressed up the famous Rocky Statue in Philadelphia with team gear. A sign that read “Yo Adrian Httc” was placed at the bottom, a reference to the band’s chant of “Hail to the Commanders” and Rocky Balboa’s Call your wifeAdrian, after defeating Apollo Creed in “Rocky II”.
The Eagles poked fun at this troll, citing instances where fans Minnesota Vikings AND San Francisco 49ers they did the same before their NFC Championship matchups. Philadelphia won every time.
The Eagles also released an edited clip from “SpongeBob Squarepants” in which Squidward grabs the George Halas trophy from a claw machine. The caption includes the “W” twice, possibly indicating their two victories over Commanders this season.
