Scoring six goals in the school playground or local park may be common, but in professional football it is even rarer.
While hat-tricks are quite frequent, even four and five goals are exceptions at the highest level of the game.
It’s rare to score two hat-tricks, but there have been a number of players over the years who have achieved the feat.

16. Wesley Sank
Wesley Sonk is one of Belgium’s finest strikers of this generation, having spent his career playing for the likes of Ajax and Borussia Monchengladbach, but achieved his greatest success in his native Genk. success.
Sonk scored 80 goals during three prolific seasons with the Belgian club, including six in a 9-0 top-flight win over Mechelen in November 2002 .

Ted McDougall was a Scottish striker who spent almost his entire career in England and holds the record for the most goals in an FA Cup match.

Only once in the history of the Copa del Rey has a player completed two hat-tricks, and that was Eulogio Martinez in May 1957.

Piola won the 1938 World Cup with Italy and also won Serie A runner-up three times with Lazio and Juventus.
10. Omar Sivori
Omar Sivori, one of only two players in Serie A history to score six goals in a match, scored two hat-tricks to help Juventus to a huge victory.
In June 1961, Sivori scored six times as Juventus beat rivals Inter Milan 9-1. The Argentinian-Italian scored the Bianconeri’s first three goals before adding his fifth, seventh and ninth goals in a historic win.
9. Erling Haaland
Double hat trick? Erling Haaland has been better as ever, scoring three hat-tricks for Norway U-20s against Honduras at the 2019 U-20 World Cup.
Haaland was 18 years old at the time and playing for Red Bull Salzburg. His nine goals in Norway’s 12-0 win certainly marked his emergence as one of the most exciting forward players in the world.

Dieter Müller won the 1977/78 Bundesliga title with FC Köln and was the top scorer that season and the previous season.

5. Laszlo Kubala
Barcelona built the Camp Nou because not enough fans could make it into their home in Le Corte to watch the legendary Laszlo Kubala play.
Kubala, later immortalized in a statue outside the new stadium, was a legend of his time, scoring 288 goals for the Catalan club, including unofficial matches. Seven of those goals came in a 9-0 La Liga victory over Sporting Gijon in February 1952.

2.Julian Alvarez
Julian Alvarez signed for Manchester City in January 2022 but was loaned back to River Plate for the next six months.
The striker scored six goals in the Buenos Aires club’s 8-1 victory over Lima in the Copa Libertadores in May and went on to win the World Cup with Argentina later that year .

Ted Drake is a center forward who plays for Arsenal and Southampton and holds the record for goals in England’s top flight.
In December 1935, Drake scored all seven goals in Arsenal’s 7-1 victory over Aston Villa. He also made five appearances for the England national team, scoring six goals.
