The Pop-Tarts Bowl event is upping the ante for another edition after last season’s mascot won the hearts of the college football community online.
First, they tripled the effectiveness of the live mascot campaign and announced it three flavored Pop-Tarts will be taking part in the game this month. Now they have presented the most technologically advanced trophy in sports.
The winner of this year’s Pop-Tarts Bowl will lift a trophy that also doubles as a fully functional toaster.

The concept is not new. Last year’s trophy also included a silver soccer ball with two metal holes for Pop-Tarts. But these slot machines were for show.
But now, thanks to a partnership with GE Appliances, the bowl champion will be able to toast the snack after winning.
Number 18 Iowa cyclones and No. 13 Hurricanes in Miami will play for the right to hoist the Toaster trophy on December 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
