The Brussels Public Prosecutor Office said on Tuesday that the former Belgium international Radza Nayinggollan was accused of participating in a criminal organization as part of a cocaine trafficking investigation.
The prosecutor office said that 36 -year -old Nayinggollan was released on terms. His next court date was not specified.
Investigations have been focused on importing cocaine from South America from the port of Antwarp and re -distributing it to Belgium, the office said.
The arrest of NayingGolan was announced on Monday after the Federal Police Antwarp province and around Brussels and around the surroundings of it. They say they seized 2.7 kilos (about 6 pounds) with cash and luxurious items. Sixteen were arrested.
It is not immediately known whether there is a legal representation to respond to Nayinggollan.
Several months later without the club, Naengogolan returned to the Belgium team Locaran-Tesse. He celebrated his debut with a goal directly from a corner kick last weekend.
