The MODUS Super series is hosting “Legends Week” this week. After Steve Beaton became the first to qualify for the final stage on Saturday, two other groups will fight for the remaining five places in the final stage.
The MODUS Super Series is a weekly tournament in which 12 players compete from Monday to Friday for a place in the final group, which takes place on Saturday evening. The player who finishes first after three sessions qualifies directly for the finals on Saturday evening. On the final night, players compete in a small group stage, followed by semi-finals and finals to determine the winner of the week.
The competition begins again next week, with twelve new players vying for the title. After twelve weeks of competition, all weekly winners take part in ‘Champions’ Week’, which takes place every thirteen weeks to determine the winner of the series and the winner who will claim the top prize of £20,000.
Richie Howson provisionally leads Group C of the MODUS Super Series
The first matches in group C ended on Thursday evening. Each team played one match and five matches each Richie Howson currently leads the table with ten points. The reigning WSDT champion of champions is two points ahead of Devon Petersen and four more than Robert Thornton.
Follow them Martin Adams with four points and Wes Newton with two. Trina Gulliver still no points for now. Today is the last day of fun.
