There has been much uproar, mainly from the tabloid media and broadcasters, over a potential Luke Littler v Fallon Sherrock there was a clash during the PDC World Darts Championship draw. But instead it will be Ryan Meikle On Saturday, he will face the title favorite after winning 3-2.
The Barber v Hairdresser battle, which featured two players who had cut hair in their previous incarnations, although it was a rather recent job for Meikle, was won by the Suffolk ace who came from a set to win Queen of the Palace.
Sherrock almost gave fans something to dream about. She started with the first set and looked great as Meikle was flattered that she had cheated. But his game got better and Sherrock’s didn’t, which was the key to victory. Now Meikle, who has already toppled one of the crowd’s favorite fighters, will have to do it again.

Sherrock, as mentioned, had a dream start, closing out the opening set in three straight legs. But Meikle responded and he too scored it in three unanswered games, bringing the score to 1-1 with a 111 cash to restore parity.
Meikle continued to go about his business and showed that he was, at least for now, better than Sherrock, going 2-1 in sets, scoring 119 points and another three-leg series along the way.
He shot for 122 to send it all the way in the next set, but Sherrock had a roll and pinned 48 at 2-2 before sending it all the way. Meikle rattled the wire from 57 twice to hold it in place. But Sherrock missed two darts on a double 20 at halftime, and Meikle came back for a double 10 to make it 1-0. Sherrock made it 1-1 with a double 20. Meikle nailed a double 19 and he held on and allowed one shot. Sherrock missed for 170 to keep and send it to the end. Meikle then responded by cashing in 96 for the win.
