Marcus Rashford’s time at Manchester United appears to be coming to an end.
The Three Lions international – who is set to leave Old Trafford later this month – is attracting interest from Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund as some of Europe’s elite clubs look to battle it out for his signature.
Rashford’s absurd £325,000-a-week salary means that only a few will be able to agree to a deal for the 27-year-old, but an unlikely Premier League club has also entered the fray.
West Ham is monitoring Marcus Rashford’s ongoing loan situation at Manchester United
According to talkSPORTWest Ham United is monitoring the developments of the Manchester United striker and has asked to be kept informed about his situation.
A move to AC Milan seems most likely given that Rashford’s brother Dwaine visited Italy earlier this week to talk to club officials.
What could change things is the recent arrival of Graham Potter at the London Stadium. Potter replaced Julen Lopetegui after the Spaniard won just six of his 20 Premier League games.
Rashford has spent his entire professional career at Old Trafford and would be a huge achievement for the Hammers. Former teammate Jesse Lingard spent a spell at West Ham in 2021.
West Ham are in desperate need of a striker with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen currently sidelined. Brighton striker Evan Ferguson is also said to be of interest.
Tottenham Hotspur have also indicated their interest in Rashford, but the Lilywhites would prefer a transfer for PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani this month.
We understand that #WHUFC is following developments regarding Marcus Rashford and has asked to be kept informed about his situation. A European move is still more likely but needs to be monitored, as @ExWHUEmployee reports.January 9, 2025
IN FourFourTwo opinion, it seems likely that Rashford will move to Italy this month and we expect him to sign for AC Milan, Napoli or Juventus. His situation at United is sad considering the obvious talent he has.
