Last year we reached the semi-finals, Scott Williams he has big bills to pay off this year PDC World Darts Championships and he almost didn’t make it, but in showman style he won an amazing victory Niko Springer 3-1.
The German is making his debut at this year’s edition, even though he has been well-known for some time, and from 2025 he will also be a Tour Card holder. He gave signs on the big stage as to why, but in the end Williams prevailed. His good friend Rob Cross is now waiting for him.

It was a terrible start for Williams before he managed to play three sets in a row, with Springer having an easy opening salvo as he took a 1-0 lead and left Williams having to give everything he had to get back on the attack.
He did just that, scoring 78 points to end the second set 3-1, making it 1-1 and leaving the playing field level again. But the showmanship began to come to light. Williams produced a trademark no-look score of 180 on his way to the third set, hitting the front end, although he averaged five less than his opponent, who averaged 100 but still lost.
Not only was that an overall average of 100, but it was also a 114 in the set as Williams punished missed darts with a double to take the lead. Springer ultimately, after Williams missed a break dart, took a 2-1 lead in the next set, hitting a double 10.
Williams, however, held on to the advantage and eventually broke to 3-2 to secure the victory, scoring a double 11. Ultimately, however, it was an exciting battle for both sides, with both an average and scoring average of 98 and 16,180 points between them.
But the Williams train is moving again as he looks to repeat his heroics from last year. There’s no doubt there’s a lot more Springer can achieve when he takes his full PDC bow next year.
