His teams reached the playoffs in 12 of his first 13 seasons, including the previous five in Miami, where he led the Heat to two NBA Finals berths and one additional Eastern Conference Finals appearance.
Butler has a $49 million contract for this season with the Heat and a $52 million player option for the 2025-2026 season after both sides failed to extend his contract last summer.
