One look at driving accuracy metrics on the PGA Tour confirms something the GOLF equipment team has known for months: TaylorMade Qi10 drivers are incredibly good.

Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa and Rory McIlroy improved their accuracy by over 16 percent since switching to Qi10. The improvement data is not a typo. According to robotic testing findings from GOLF’s partnership with Golf Laboratories, few drivers maintained full-face ball speed and Qi10. On several models, notably the Qi10 and Qi10 Max, there was little to no distance loss on high toe misses. In addition to providing excellent ball speed protection on high toe misses, the 12-degree Qi10, Qi10 Max and 10.5-degree Qi10 reduced distance by up to six yards at all nine points on the face at 150 km/h.

So why are these numbers so important? If you can miss anywhere on the face and see minimal loss in carry distance, it stands to reason that wild misses won’t be as wild. This is a proven recipe for tighter spreads and lower scores for everyone.
