The Miami Dolphins have waived veteran WR Odell Beckham Jr.

Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins are 6-7 in 2024. The team is 4-1 in its past five games. That includes a 32-26 overtime win over the Jets in Week 14. Miami has a lot of work to do to make the playoffs. The Denver Nuggets are projected to be the No. 7 seed with an 8-5 record.

Tagovailoa’s midseason concussion was a setback for the Dolphins from which they never recovered. In Weeks 2-9, the Dolphins posted a 1-7 record in eight games. It’s been an uphill battle for Miami in the second half of the season. The team announced on Friday morning that veteran WR Odell Beckham Jr. was placed on waivers. He was in his first season with the Dolphins and played in nine games.

In the 2014 NFL Draft, Odell Beckham Jr. It’s No. 12 to the LSU Giants. It didn’t take long for Beckham to make himself a household name in the NFL. Beckham started all four playoff games with the Rams and won a Super Bowl. However, he tore his ACL in Super Bowl LVI and missed the entire 2022 season. The veteran WR spent time with the Ravens in 2023, providing a solid addition for Baltimore. Beckham signed with the Dolphins before the start of the 2024 season, but he was injured before the season began. In 2024, Beckham played in 9 games for the Dolphins and had 9 catches for 55 yards. The Pro Bowl WR was waived by Miami on Friday.
