Łukasz Małyr AND Luke Humphries head to Alexandra Palace after a dominant 2024, while the likes of Ritchie Edhouse AND Mike Decker they are buoyed by the first major victories in history.
The rest of the rankings include, among others: Josh Rock, Gian Van Veen and Wessel Nijman are teasing the big tournament, looking to break into the PDC elite.
However, in terms of form, one player is on average better than all of these players and that is none other than the two-time World Darts Champion Gary Anderson.

Anderson has been in great shape on the court this year, averaging higher than almost everyone on the Pro Tour.
The Flying Scotsman finally began to hone his top form on the big stages in the second half of 2024 as well, particularly with his stunning performances in the Grand Slam of Darts.
His results in 2024 have been impressive, with his annual average of 99.66 better than anyone else, including Littler and world No. 1 Humphries.
It is worth noting that Anderson played significantly fewer matches than both men, but this is proof that Anderson is back to his best as he bids to win his third World Darts Championship.

Heading into the 2025 World Darts Championships, Anderson hopes that experience will give him an advantage over the young competitors taking part in the tournament.

“So yes, they have youth on their side, which for us boys is a bit humiliating because we want to be young again, but they have a great future ahead of them.”
