Anj Postkoglu’s future has been called into question in recent weeks, with current Premier League managers appearing to be interested in the Australian’s role at Tottenham Hotspur.
It’s been a mixed season for the north London club, from the highs of defeating Manchester City to the lows of defeat to Ipswich Town. Tottenham’s performance in the first half of the 2024/25 season was very unstable, which put a lot of pressure on Postkoglu.
Tottenham Hotspur are currently 10th in the Premier League with seven wins from 16 games. It wasn’t what fans of the club were expecting and a large group of supporters began to question whether Postkoglu was the right man for the job.
The former Celtic manager’s style of football is attractive, but at times, it leaves his team with gaps at the back.

Spurs have been punished on a number of occasions this season, incidents that could have been avoided if the Australian coach had been more cautious.
Tottenham have decided to back Postkoglu but that hasn’t stopped managers being linked with the north London role.
Thomas Frank keen on Tottenham job
Postkoglu reportedly feeling pressure at Tottenham Hotspur team talk Brentford boss Thomas Frank is keen on a move to Tottenham as the Danish coach looks to move up the Premier League ladder.
The 51-year-old has done an incredible job on a shoestring budget at Brentford, with the Bees currently 11th in the table 47% winning rate for this season.
Tottenham have previously been interested in Frank, who could become Spurs manager if the Premier League giants part ways with Postkoglu.
The north London club are said to admire the 51-year-old for his ability to play good football, stick to a tight budget and build strong relationships with his players.
Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna is a coach the Tottenham Hotspur board also like, however, with Spurs continuing to deal with significant first-team injuries, the London outfit are willing to offer Postkog Lu more time.
