The fourth night of TGL was new at night.
Not only Showdown between Boston Common Golf Rory Mcilroya and the Jupiter Links Tiger Woods golf club gave us our first TIO ruling in the League simulator (not a joke), but also gave us that the first looked at one of the advanced league technologies of advanced technology.
Kevin Kisner hit the T -shirt in the fifth hole of pairs 3 to the top of the back on the back of the green. On the simulator, the ball stopped on the slope, to the disappointment of Kisner. But when Jupiter’s links went to put the ball on this part of the greenery, they could not be surprised.
“We were exhausted there from nine feet,” Kisner said, trying to stop the ball on the slope.
This was enabled by Jupiter Links to place the ball elsewhere on the greenery, which, according to the expert of the rules, Mark Russell, in “position not near the hole”.
“When the player could not force the ball to rest, he had to go to the position near the hole in which he would rest. So they did it. He just went down a little to the slope and placed him in a position that is not close. “
Boston and Jupiter finished the attachment of the hole, but exclusion indicates an early problem with TGL – the technology was not always there. Considering where Kisner’s ball landed on the simulator, she should have rolled back on the slope. This is something that the league should be able to cleanse as much as possible.
To sum up, Monday evening was a better night for TGL, because two league degrees added juice and entertainment to a product that had its ups and downs during the first three weeks.
