Tiger Woods should join Champions Tour: Langer

Woods, who has played in a limited schedule since his terrifying car disaster in February 2021, will be entitled to play during the champions – where players can use golf carts at most events – when they are on December 50.

The German Langer, who owns a record career, wins in the Masters Route and won in the Playoff phase nad Woods in December last year in an unofficial family event, he said that the Great Golf was still very competitive.

“For us exciting it would be to see how Tiger came out and played The Champions Tour, and I am convinced that he will play a few. It depends on how much, “said 67-year-old Langer at a conference conversation before the Tour’s masters February 14-16 Chubb Classic.

“I will gradually stop here and older and may not be at the top of my game when he leaves, but always moves the needle.

“It is a very exciting personality to watch, and it would be fantastic for Tiger and our route to compete there, and I think that all players will welcome him.”

Among those who compete on the route of the masters, are Ernie Els, Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard, Vijay Singh, Darren Clarke, Fred Paris .

While Woods, who in June last year received a special dismissal from PGA Tour events, will probably continue to focus on four main directions based in the US in a foreseeable future, he could also take advantage of the champions route to win competitive representatives.

Paul Azinger, a 12-fold winner at PGA Tour, who is currently a leading analyst in masters’ broadcasts, believes that Woods would definitely go to seniors.

“Suddenly the emphasis is on this trip. I believe there are many expectations. Many guys will be in shape and ready and try to defeat the tiger if they can, “said Azinger.
