For Vokey wedges, a may look like copper oil it is timeless and refers to the 200 series wedges, which will be 25 years old in 2025.
As a nod to this past, Titleist is releasing a limited edition Oil Can finish for the Vokey SM10 wedges.
The copper finish of the Oil Can is not the same as the original from over twenty years ago. This time it’s a PVD treatment designed to achieve a rich copper tone while minimizing glare and maximizing durability.
“A player has to love his wedge when he looks at it, and finishing is key,” said Bob Vokey. “Having confidence in the wedge at address is extremely important.”
The limited-edition wedge sneaker will be offered in all 27 loft and jump options available in the SM10 retail bespoke range, including recently added low bounce K grind, for both right- and left-handed people. There will also be 12 loft and bounce combinations (50.08F, 52.08F, 54.10S, 54.12D, 56.08M, 56.10S, 56.12D, 58.08M, 58.10S, 60.08M, 60.10S, 60.12D.) available in stock for right-handed Just.
The Oil Can Wedges will also be available with a Project Numerous other shafts and holders will be available upon request.
In the case of non-standard orders, golfers will have the opportunity to choose eight unique engravings on the fingers and two additional, unique engravings on the fingers resembling only a can of olive oil.
SM10 oil container wedges will have the same improvements as SM10 line has to offer, such as an optimized center of gravity position based on lofts and the new TX9 grooves, which are narrower and deeper on the stronger extension wedges and wider and shallower on higher lofts.
Vokey’s limited edition SM10 Oil Can wedges will be available for pre-order starting today March 18 before they become available worldwide March 27.
Each wedge will cost $249 and golfers who want to get their hands on it will have to act fast, with the limited edition finish only available while supplies last.
