Liv Golf made a final transaction for the upcoming season.
After weeks of gossip and reports, Tom McKibbin officially became the latest member of the Jon Rahm XIII Legion on Wednesday. Rahm announced the addition of 22-year-old McKibbin, which comes from the same Northern Ireland club, as Rory Mcilroy, through the video of social media, greeting him in a team of four, including Tyrrell Hatton and Caleb Surratt.
The Liv season begins next week under the lights in Saudi Arabia.
McKibbin makes a traffic despite getting the PGA Tour card through the DP World Tour race to Dubai last autumn. McKibbin has not yet made his debut in PGA Tour, instead in the Middle East, the DPWT pair. Currently, it ranks 106th in the official global golf ranking.
McKibbin’s decision surprised Mcilroy, who talked to his mentee last year shortly after McKibbin received the first Liv offer.
