Tottenham desperately need January signings
While fans will be delighted with the news, they will still be frustrated by the lack of necessary activity at the club.
The squad is already stretched thin due to injuries to key players, and recent struggles in the Premier League have exposed the need for reinforcements.
Manager Anj Postkoglu indirectly urged chairman Daniel Levy to take action after the defeat to Everton, saying the players needed help in a thinly veiled plea for new signings.
They have been linked with several players, including Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and Lecce’s Patrick Dolgu, as they look to fill a number of positions. However, with just 10 days left until the January transfer window, no deal appears to have been agreed upon.
