Jack Tweddell climbed to the top of the table on Tuesday after winning four of his five matches on day two and looks set to book his place in Saturday’s final by reaching the final day of Group A on Wednesday.
Tweddell, who entered Tuesday’s match with eight points from the first day of Group A, again won four games from five and climbed to the top of the table with wins over Arne Spee, Bradly Roes, Scott Taylor and Gary Stone, his only defeat in the match against Adam Sevada and has 16 points out of 20 possible so far.
In other countries, Tweddell’s closest competitor is Adam Sevada, and the North American ranks 2nd.II with 14 points, while Gary Stone and Scott Taylor are tied for 3rdrd and 4vol 12 points respectively and Arne Spee is in 5th placevol with 6 points, and Bradly Roes with 0 points, after ten defeats in a row.
The Modus Super Series will continue on Wednesday with six competitors returning on the final day of Group A hoping to increase their chances of securing a place in Saturday’s final, with Tweddell leading so far.
Players placed 2-6 will be split into two groups for Thursday and Friday play, with afternoon and evening sessions taking place on both days, with new players joining the fray.
The match will start on Wednesday at 9:30 GMT and will be broadcast live on The Modus YouTube channel, Pluto TV or on the websites of various bookmakers around the world.
