Briton Michael “Venom” Page will face Russian Sharaputdin Magomedov on February 1 in a middleweight fight at UFC in Saudi Arabia.
Page, nicknamed “MVP,” enters the contest from welterweight, where he has spent most of his career.
The 37-year-old last fought in June, losing by unanimous decision to Ian Machado Garry of Ireland.
Undefeated Magomedov (30) won the first 15 fights of his career, with his last victory in October against Armen Petrosyan.
The main attraction of the gala will be a middleweight fight between former two-time champion Israel Adesanya and Frenchman Nassourdine Imavov.
Nigerian-born New Zealander Adesanya wants to regain his strength defeat to champion Dricus du Plessis in August, while Imavov is on a three-fight winning streak.
