Darts academy where Luke Littler grew up goes wild at deciding double

Łukasz Małyr won PDC World Darts Championships for the first time in his career on Friday night. The 17-year-old Englishman was too strong for Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the final at Alexandra Palace and now he can call himself the youngest world darts champion in history.

Members of the St Helens Darts Academy also watched the final with enthusiasm. At this darts academy, run by Karl Holden, Littler learned the basics of the game.

The darts academy held a meeting in a local pub and went berserk when Littler scored the decisive double to become world champion.
