Vinícius Júnior, Aitana Bonmati win FIFA best player of the year awards

Real Madrid star Vinicjusz Junior on Tuesday, he finally got his hands on the big global player award.

Vinícius was named men’s player of the year in FIFA’s “The Best” poll. Barcelona quarterback Aitana Bonmatí continued to dominate women’s soccer awards.

Vinícius was very disappointed with the defeat Manchester City helper Rodri For Ballon d’Or in October that he and his Madrid team snubbed the ceremony in Paris in protest.

The Brazil the striker was at the FIFA ceremony to receive the award after traveling with Madrid to Doha for the Intercontinental Cup final against Pachuca.

Bonmati won the award for best female player of the year, winning further awards in the senior and the more prestigious Ballon d’Or prize.

Bonmati won the Ballon d’Or for two years in a row, and in 2024, with Barcelona, he won the Spanish championship, the Spanish Cup and the Champions League.
