Why a sub-60 score wouldn’t be a surprise at this week’s Korn Ferry Tour event

We are already on #59watch on a Korn Ferry trip.

The main circuit of the PGA Tour feeder is headed for Country Club de Bogota in Colombia for this weekly Astara golf championship, the fourth event on the calendar. The tournament is one of the two KFT stops with many courses. The LAGO course is the main arrangement and the only host of the final 36 holes, but it is an accompanying course, Pacos, which is one of the best stories annually.

Pacos is a PAR-70 system, which plays only 6254 yards-and before the fact that Bogota is at the level of about 8,600 feet above sea level; The adapted Pacos yard is closer to 5400 yards.

Of the 12 PAR-4 course, only two of them play over 400 yards. The shortest PAR-4 is the fifth hole of 298 yards. There is also a 115-jard PAR-3.

Thanks to the small size, Pacos is not a surprise. Last year, she brought an average of 66.58 (-3,42), while Cristobal del Solar fired at KFT-Record 57 in the first round, and Aldrich Potgieter the next day.

Lagos, however, is much more difficult, playing as Par-71 and 7,237 yards with an average scoring last year 69.51 (-1,49).

Kevin Velo won last year’s title at 22 below.
