A bumper edition to test your knowledge

Do you know your football? We’re putting it to the ultimate test by compiling an extra-large bumper version of our famous Wikipedia footballer quiz.

You know the drill here. We took the screencap from Wikipedia and your job is to tell us which career path refers to which player.

We usually follow a theme, ie England international or The cult hero of the Champions League. Now we’re down to pure common sense. Nothing links this lot other than what they’ve played over the past 30 years, so you don’t need to be a history buff to figure it out.

Some of these have spent their careers in England, others entirely abroad. Some were world-class Champions League winners, while others were frankly a bit rubbish. We hope some seasoned football viewers will get something out of this, while others are only for experts.

Our score from Planet Football HQ is 21/30. good luck

Once you’ve had a go at this one, why not have a go at ours The ultimate Premier League quizFeaturing 30 tough multiple-choice questions on English Top Flight.

If you enjoy our quizzes, head over to our new one football game Home where you can search an archive of over 1,000 quizzes and play them in beautiful full-screen mode.
