One of the most important matches on Thursday evening will be the clash between The Duffman and The Daddy as Neil Duff AND Barry Copeland will collide in 2024 WDF World Championships.
The two tour best friends now become rivals, and Duff in particular instructed fans after passing Reece Colley that the ticket price alone was worth it.
He promised fireworks and a kick to the roof Lake they go from friends to rivals in pursuit of a quarter-final spot on the famous stage.
Coming alone and watching this match will be worth the ticket price. There will be fireworks, we are best friends. We travel together, we live together. We are sponsored by the same people. If he succeeds, it will explode on Thursday and bring the roof off this place,” Duff said.
And Copeland, who certainly shows his emotions on stage, defeated Aaron Turner 3-0 in straight sets. However, despite his close relationship with Duff, he assured that he would not change during the tie.
He said he would continue to give his all and that their friendship would not fade as long as they were on stage, stoking the fire for what promises to be an epic draw.
“Neil is a great friend of mine. We have been traveling together for the last 3-4 years. We’re good friends, but as soon as we get on stage, everything disappears. Everything will disappear,” Copeland said.
“I won’t change for anyone. You see what you get with me. I don’t change for anyone, I don’t care if I upset anyone. When I’m up there, whatever I do comes naturally.”
