Wilson launches 2025 Triad, Duo Soft golf balls

Today, Wilson introduced two golf balls: the Triad and 2025 Duo Soft.

The Triad is touted as “the most sustainable golf ball in the world.” It features a patented Tri-Balanced construction that ensures uniform density in all three layers. According to the company, this technology eliminates “heavy” spots in the ball, ensuring an ideal center of gravity and a truer roll.

According to Frank Simonutti, global director of golf ball innovation at Wilson Golf, “The soft, three-piece urethane ball delivers improved performance by helping golfers find more fairways, attack more pins and sink more putts. The redesigned Tri-Balanced design makes it more consistent than its predecessor.

The 80 compression Triad ball features a high moment of inertia for maximum ball speed and reduced driver spin for increased accuracy off the tee. Additionally, a thin, high-friction urethane cover improves club-face interaction for excellent control on approach shots, Wilson says. Simonutti highlighted the Triad’s exceptional testing results, noting, “The new Triad had the longest driver distance and highest iron spin among competing three-piece urethane balls. This was accompanied by the highest average spin rate for wedge shots with an angle of 7, 9 and 56 degrees.

The Wilson Duo Soft continues its legacy as the “softest golf ball in the world” and is now enhanced with a newly designed high-energy core. This two-piece Surlyn ball provides 37 compression for an exceptionally soft feel while maximizing distance and minimizing spin for straighter flights. “The new Duo Soft provides golfers with the highest performance at an incredible price,” said Simonutti. “During testing, the innovative, high-energy core showed that the new Duo Soft lasted longer than other competitive two-piece balls, while still providing the softest feel of any golf ball.”
