The Bengals snapped a three-game losing streak against the Cowboys in Week 14 at MNF. Cincinnati won 27-20 in Dallas and is 5-8 in 2024. The Tigers are off to a 1-4 start, and they’ll have to be perfect to recover from that. Cincinnati remains on track to make the playoffs despite going 4-4 in its past eight games.
Offense is no longer an issue for the 2024 Bengals. starting quarterback Joe Burrow Cincinnati is having a dominant season. With four games left, he leads the league in multiple offensive categories. These include pass attempts, completions, passing yards, passing yards per game and passing touchdowns. If Cincinnati maintains its winning record in 2024, Burrow will likely be the favorite to win the NFL MVP.

With four games left in the 2024 regular season, the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen is the favorite (-400) to win the MVP. The next closest player is the Eagles’ Saquon Barkley (+450). Allen has 23 passing and nine rushing touchdowns in 2024. Buffalo has won the AFC East and secured a playoff spot. There are two things Joe Burrow and the Bengals can’t accomplish in 2024. In 13 games, Burrow passed for 3,706 yards, 33 touchdowns and only six interceptions. He leads the NFL in yards per game (285.1).
Despite Burrow’s performance this season, he was not considered for MVP due to the Benagle’s 5-8 record. Cincinnati’s defense has been holding teams back all season long. Joe Burrow and the offense are averaging 27.8 points per game this season. That’s the sixth-best finish in 2024. However, Cincinnati’s defense is allowing an average of points per game this season (27.7). Not surprisingly, this is the bottom four in the NFL. Burrow and the offense will need to have a perfect game to win. If the team was 8-5 and now 5-8, Burrow might be more likely to win the MVP. The Bengals will face the Tennessee Titans on the road in Week 15.
