Wrexham have signed Ryan Longman from Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The winger has signed a contract with the option of a further year until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Longman has made nine appearances for Hull this season spanning 478 minutes.
He was an academy graduate of Brighton & Hove Albion but never appeared in the Premier League.
On signing for the club, Longman said: “I’m over the moon and very happy that the deal has been completed.
“I am really looking forward to being a part of this journey. I came to watch the game last night and the atmosphere was incredible.
AFC Wimbledon secured Longman on loan for the 2020/21 season and was then loaned to Hull after the season.
Following that campaign, the versatile winger scored City’s goal of the season with a superb strike against the winger. Everton In the Emirates FA Cup.
A move that lasted until January 2022.
His final loan move was to Millwall last season where he went on to score 35 times and assist six times in the Championship.
This includes a winner Leicester City In April 2023.
On the signing, manager Phil Parkinson said: “We are delighted to bring Ryan to the club. He is an exciting young player and I am really looking forward to working with him.”
Wrexham Their sights are set on a third successive promotion which will see them promoted from non-league to the Championship.
They currently sit in third place but League One has certainly proved to be their toughest test.
James McClean’s side have tasted defeat this season five times and drawn seven matches.
One of which was a 1-1 draw against first-placed Birmingham City as Lyndon Dykes equalized nine minutes after Oliver Rathbone’s opener.
Wrexham are now winless in two games but look forward to hosting 16th-placed Stevenage.
